Durban Clothing Manufacturers was established in 1932. It became the home
of leading brand names in South African Mens clothing. During the mid 60's
the labels of Durand and Man about Town were promoted. In 1970 Man about
Town was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Durban Clothing became a subsidiary of that company, and over the years, names such as Pierre Cardin, Brooksfield, Man about Town and Chesterfield have ensured the company is respected for manufacturing some of the very best products that the industry has to offer. Both consumers and retailers look to Durban Clothing Manufacturers' products when they want to buy quality. This position has been reached through years of hard work of ensuring that the right product has always been supplied at the right price. Durban Clothing Manufacturers has won the State President's Export award twice. We have exported
to the United Kingdom for in excess of 20 years and to the United States
for 2 years. |
